Bhadrak, June 22, 2025: A grand assembly was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Digi Pokhari in Bant, under Bhadrak district’s Bhandaripokhari Assembly constituency, to mark 11 years of the central government’s tenure and one year of the state government’s service under the theme of Viksit Bharat Amrit Kaal, focusing on service, good governance, and welfare for the poor.
Bhadrak MP Abhimanyu Sethi, addressing the gathering, highlighted various development schemes launched by the central and state governments. He emphasized that ensuring rights for all and transforming Bhandaripokhari into a developed constituency is a collective responsibility. District BJP President Bhagaban Panda stressed the importance of effectively delivering government schemes to the public to maximize their benefits. Bhandaripokhari Assembly leader Dr. Sudhanshu Shekhar Nayak lauded the state government for fulfilling election promises, including initiatives like the Subhadra Yojana, Lakhpati Didi, and input subsidies for farmers, which have empowered citizens.
Chaired by Bant Mandal President Santosh Nayak, the event saw speeches from key figures, including district coordinator for Viksit Bharat Pratap Kumar Nayak, Bant Mandal in-charge Ajay Nayak, and Baradeshwar Mandal President Eng. Pramod Jena. Notable attendees included district BJP Vice-President Pankajini Lenka, Mahatab Mandal President Amulyaratna Nand, and former Bant Mandal President Khageshwar Behera. Bant Mandal Secretary Anand Chandra Ojha welcomed the guests and delivered the vote of thanks.
Over a thousand party workers from eight panchayats under Bant Mandal participated. The program was coordinated by former sarpanch Krupasindhu Sethi, Madhavananda Das, Sudhir Nayak, Basant Bishwal, Bilas Das, Kuna Sahu, and others, ensuring its smooth execution. The event underscored BJP’s commitment to development and public welfare in the region.
