Bhadrak (15 August 2019): Today, the 73rd Indian Independence Day was celebrated across various locations in Bhadrak. On this occasion, the District Magistrate's office premises witnessed a flag-hoisting ceremony to mark the day.
The event, scheduled at 8:30 AM, saw the participation of Bhadrak Sub-Collector, district office staff, police officers, local residents, and invited guests. The Sub-Collector hoisted the national flag amidst the gathering. Following the flag-hoisting, the Sub-Collector delivered a speech, and a local poet recited a poem dedicated to Mother Earth, which was appreciated by the Sub-Collector.
The celebrations highlighted the spirit of independence and patriotism among the participants.
