Bureau: In our daily lives, we encounter many individuals in distress. But who extends a helping hand to them? Very few people in the world selflessly help such individuals. One such young man is Siddharth Shankar Das.
Born in the village of Tarapava in the Dasarathpur block of Jajpur district, Siddharth has been drawn to social service since childhood, inspired by his teachers at Ahiyas High School and his parents.
While still in school, Siddharth made efforts to help many people. After completing his postgraduate studies at Fakir Mohan University, he furthered his commitment to social service by establishing his own organization, the Siddharth Foundation.
The Siddharth Foundation works tirelessly for the neglected and oppressed in society. Siddharth believes, "Education can eradicate all adversities. By developing education in society, not only will poverty be alleviated, but people will also become skilled and progress in life. Therefore, we place great emphasis on the education of orphaned children."
Currently, more than 20 volunteers are working with the foundation, contributing part of their salaries to help underprivileged children with their studies and transforming the lives of the needy.
Siddharth's dedication and the efforts of his foundation continue to make a significant impact on the community, providing hope and support to those in need.
