Bhadrak (26 February 2022): The intrinsic desire to enjoy the beauty of nature is a natural human inclination. All living beings are inherently connected to nature, and nature itself is seen as a nurturing force. The arrival of spring, or Basanta, brings a unique vibrancy to the hearts of poets and artists, evoking dreams and a sense of renewal. The scent of the mango blossom makes nature and the environment resonate with joy, creating a unique source of happiness in our consciousness, remarked guests at the "Amba Baulara Basa" spring discussion and poetry recital organized by the Tihidi Sahitya Sanskritik Manch on Sunday.

The event, presided over by Prof. Bishwaranjan Das, advisor to the Manch, featured chief guest Ajay Nayak, chairman of Tyagabhumi, who emphasized that just as the mango blossom brings a melodious song from the koel, a poet's heart is similarly moved by the gentle breeze of creative thoughts. Renowned critic and retired professor Dr. Kshiroda Kumar Samal, speaking as the main speaker, discussed "Spring in Odia Poetry". Distinguished guest, poet Panchanan Nayak, highlighted that the essence of soil and life strengthens the poetic voice.
