Bhubaneswar, August 26, 2024 - Yesterday, Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded certificates and felicitated 11 lakh new "Lakhpati Didis." Under this program, one lakh members of self-help groups in Odisha were honored with certificates.
The initiative, in collaboration with the Central Government, aims to empower women by enhancing their skills and capabilities, providing financial assistance, and facilitating market linkages. This support will help them achieve an annual income of ₹1 lakh or more.
