Bureau: Amitabh Bachchan, widely known as the "Shahenshah" of Bollywood, "Superstar of the Millennium," and "Big B," has recently made headlines by selling his three-year-old house.
The house, which spans 1.55 acres, includes 4, 5, and 6 BHK rooms. Reports indicate that Amitabh Bachchan earned a 168% profit from the sale. He had purchased the property in April 2021 for ₹31 crore and sold it in January 2025.
In 2021, Amitabh had rented the house to actress Kriti Sanon, who paid ₹60 lakh as security deposit and ₹10 lakh per month as rent.
Amitabh Bachchan's first film, "Saat Hindustani," was released on November 7, 1969. His performances in films like "Zanjeer" and "Deewar" in the early 1970s made him a popular figure in the Hindi film industry.
