Bureau (26 January 2025 - IPR, Odisha) In a recent incident near Banki, Malaviharapur, a school student was injured in an accident involving a pickup van. The student, who is currently undergoing treatment at Cuttack's SCB Medical College and Hospital, received a visit from the Secretary of School and Mass Education Department, Smt. Shalini Pandit, earlier today.
The Secretary has directed a thorough investigation into the incident and instructed the district magistrate to carry out a complete inquiry. Furthermore, Smt. Pandit has announced the suspension of the headmaster of the associated high school, pending the results of the investigation.
