Bhubaneswar (18 December 2022): The Odia Wikimedia User Group organized a Chintan Shibir (thinking camp) at Fortune Park Sishmo in Bhubaneswar last Sunday. The event saw the participation of Odia Wikipedians along with a few Santali Wikipedians.
The meeting, presided over by Chinmayi Mishra, involved discussions on the future plans of Odia Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, as well as the guidelines of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Participants included two administrators of Odia Wikipedia, Mrutyunjay Kar and Jnanaranjan Sahu, along with Shitikanta Dash, Shailesh Pattnayak, Sangram Keshari Senapati, and Aliva Sahu. Santali Wikipedia administrators R. Ashwini Banjan Murmu, Ramjit Tudu, and Prashant Hembram also attended the event.
Dr. Manavpreet Kaur from the Wikimedia Foundation and Afi, a prominent member of Urdu Wikipedia, joined the meeting via video call.
