Bhadrak, April 5, 2025: A heartwarming reunion of the 2010 matriculation batch of Nilok High School took place last Friday at a field near the Jagannath Temple in Nilok, located within the Bonth block of Bhadrak district. The event brought together former students from the block, district, and even those residing outside the state, rekindling old memories and friendships.
The reunion was spearheaded by Sagar Sahu, Rajesh Kumar Nayak, and Smruti Ranjan Dash, who took on the responsibility of organizing the gathering. Among the attendees were notable alumni, including Janmejay Panda, Anil Kumar Lenka, Himanshu Barik, Chandan Kumar Barik, Monalisa Mishra, Abhilipsa Mishra, Srikant Barik, Diptimayee Pradhan, Geetanjali Jena, Pratima Nayak, Saraswati Nayak, Pushpalata Sethi, Srikant Behera, Sambit Raut, Bishwanath Jena, Bhagaban Jena, Subrat Sahu, and Sangram Keshari Senapati, among others.
The event was marked by nostalgia as the former students reminisced about their school days, becoming emotional while sharing fond memories. They expressed hope that such reunions would continue to be organized in the future, strengthening their bonds. Additionally, alumni like Lipina Sahu and Rashmita Jena, who could not attend in person, joined the celebration via video call, adding to the joy of the occasion.
The gathering underscored the enduring camaraderie among the 2010 batch, with participants leaving with renewed connections and a shared sense of gratitude for their alma mater.
