Sabuja Bharat Celebrates Doctors' Day with Tree Plantation Event

Bhubaneswar, July 01, 2025, – The leading social organization Sabuj Bharat marked Doctors' Day and the closing ceremony of the 76th ‘Van Mahotsav’ week with a tree plantation drive at the Durga Mandap premises in Sahidnagar, Bhubaneswar. The event saw the participation of prominent figures, including Bhubaneswar MLA Ananta Narayan Jena, Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Deo, BJD’s state senior vice-president and former minister Prafulla Samal, and corporator Raj Kishore Das, alongside a host of intellectuals and senior leaders who joined in the plantation efforts.Former minister Prafulla Samal emphasized the role of tree planting in addressing global challenges such as climate change, rising temperatures, and irregular weather patterns. He expressed optimism that such initiatives could help regulate these environmental issues. The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from over a hundred attendees, reinforcing the commitment to environmental conservation.
