West Asia Conflict Intensifies as US-Israel Launch Fresh Strikes on Iran

Desk (11 March 2026): The ongoing conflict in West Asia involving United States, Israel, and Iran intensified on Tuesday as the war entered its 11th day, raising fears of a broader regional escalation.

According to reports, the United States and Israel carried out fresh large-scale airstrikes inside Iran. In response, Iran launched retaliatory attacks using missiles and drones targeting Israeli territory as well as locations linked to U.S. interests in Gulf countries.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a strong warning to Washington, stating that if American military operations continue, Iran could block oil shipments from the region. The statement suggested that the escalating conflict might disrupt global energy supplies.

Rejecting claims made by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the possible end of the war, the IRGC said that the decision on when the conflict will end will be taken by Tehran.

The intensifying hostilities have increased tensions across the Middle East, with concerns growing over the potential impact on global oil markets and regional security. Analysts warn that continued escalation could further destabilize the region and draw in more countries into the conflict.
