Bhadrak: Sangram Keshari Senapati, the founder and editor of the Shubhapallaba e-magazine, has been honored with the Youth Inspiration Award. He received this award during the sixth International Mother Language Conference organized by the Odia Intellectuals' Forum in New Delhi on February 20 and 21.
Sangram has been a dedicated contributor to Odia Wikipedia for many years, regularly writing articles and bringing the stories and poems of Odia authors to a wider audience through the e-magazine and web portal Shubhapallaba. His contributions to promoting the Odia language on various websites and social media platforms have earned him this recognition.
The award was presented to him in the Constitution Club of India's auditorium in Delhi. On the second day of the event, he participated in a discussion session where he addressed the challenges of digitizing Odia books and documents and proposed making various government-prepared software available as open source.
The two-day event featured experts in Indian classical languages who shared their insights on mother tongues. The workshop, chaired by Debendranath Raut, saw participation from officials from NIC, C-DAC, Digit, JNU, Odia Radio, Odisha Diary, and other organizations. Editor Shyamanju Das moderated the workshop.
