Bhadrak (31 March 2021): A farewell ceremony was held today at Nilok High School to honor retiring staff member Sanatan Nayak, former headmaster Shovendra Kumar Majhi, teacher Surajita Bai, and teacher Prafulla Kumar Sahu.
The event, chaired by headmaster Durjyodhan Jena, featured chief guest Raghunath Sahu, former editor of Rajya Ostara, main speaker Jagannath Patra, retired headmaster of Tarago High School, esteemed speaker Akshay Kumar Hota, member of the executive committee of Rajya Ostara, among others including Sarpanch Rajani Sethi, block Ostara editor Shashi Shekhar Karsharma, retired teachers Nav Kumar Lenka, Manmohan Acharya, and Nirakar Behera.
Attendees also included former headmasters Narahari Barik and Gauranga Charan Mahanti, and sports teacher Prabhakar Das of RCBeAL Charampa High School. The event saw addresses by Puratan Chhatra Sangram Keshari Senapati, Rajesh Das, Debashish Nayak, and others. The retiring teachers and staff were presented with certificates and mementos in recognition of their service.
