Anandpur (6 March 2021): The Preeti Pranati family celebrated its first annual festival today at Anand Bhavan in Anandpur, with the launch of its annual magazine. The event, chaired by family president Bibhuti Bhushan Samal, featured prominent guests such as Prof. Ramakanta Nayak as the chief guest, Sangram Keshari Samantaray as the keynote speaker, children's author Ratnakar Das, honored guest Harihar Panigrahi, and poet Hasyamayi Raj, who shed light on various aspects of literature.
During the event, the annual issue of Preeti Pranati was unveiled by the guests. Editor Debabrata Barik read the editorial, while Ranjan Kumar Mahanti and Vidyulata Palei assisted with the event management. In the second session, a poetry recital festival was held, with 34 poets from Balasore, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack, Jajpur, and Bhadrak reciting their original poems.
Honorees at the event included Deepti Debasini Sutar, Bhaskar Chandra Das, Debashish Chakrabarty, Anindita Das, Manas Kumar Padhi, Ranjan Kumar Mahanti, Saubhagya Ranjan Mahapatra, and Sarveshwar Sahu, who received the Maa Tarini awards for storytelling, poetry, and music. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by poet Sujit Kumar Mishra.
