Rajesh Kumar Barik's Story Collection "Biswas" Launched on Vishwakarma Puja

Bhadrak (17 September 2021): On the occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, Shubhapallaba Publications launched a story collection titled "Biswas" by Rajesh Kumar Barik. The launch took place at the Shubhapallaba office, adhering to COVID-19 guidelines, and was attended by storyteller Rajesh Kumar Barik, founder of Shubhapallaba Sangram Keshari Senapati, social worker Sanjeeb Kumar Barik, and retired teacher Anand Chandra Mallik. Editor Tapas Ranjan and graphic designer Sambit Das joined the event via video call.

"Biswas" is Rajesh Kumar Barik's first published book, featuring 22 short stories based on everyday events. Rajesh began writing stories and poems in 2012, with his first story published in Shubhapallaba's quarterly magazine in 2018. Since then, his stories have been featured in various magazines. Expressing his joy over the publication of his first story collection, Rajesh extended his gratitude to Tapas Ranjan and Sambit Das from Shubhapallaba Publications.
