Bhadrak (25 November 2022): The 22nd Bhadrak Book Fair was inaugurated this evening. The chief guest, editor of Sambad, Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, lit the ceremonial lamp and officially opened the book fair. Other distinguished guests included Bhadrak MLA Sanjeev Mallick, renowned storyteller and retired professor Radhabinod Nayak, playwright Bijay Das, and Bhadrak District Collector Siddheshwar Balaram Bandor.
The event, presided over by Ajay Nayak, saw professor Bishwaranjan Das delivering the welcome speech and introducing the guests. The fair's editor, Rupak Bihari Ray, read the editorial report.
Other attendees included Sudhakar Raut, professor Shaikendra Mahapatra, lawyer Gadadhar Bal, lawyer Divyasingh Nayak, lawyer Radha Das, Pankaj Bal, Amaresh Biswal, Kuni Mahanti, Baikuntha Biswal, Jagannath Raut, Biplab Hota, district information and public relations officer Ramesh Natak, and literary figure Hridananada Panigrahi, along with many other writers, educators, and intellectuals.
