Bureau - On March 11, the Georgia Society of America celebrated the vibrant festival of Holi with great enthusiasm and pomp in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. The event saw participation from hundreds of Odia brothers and sisters from various parts of Georgia.
The celebration featured cultural programs where children performed dances to Odia songs. Traditional Odia food and cultural heritage were showcased, making the festival a delightful experience for all attendees. Local American citizens also joined the festivities, enjoying the cultural display and participating in the playful act of applying colors to each other.
The event was organized under the supervision of Rajlakshmi Jena, Secretary of the Georgia Society of America, Chairman Sheetal Mishra, and Subodh Patra. Their dedicated efforts ensured a successful and memorable celebration of Odisha's beloved festival in a foreign land.
