Desk: In a shocking turn of events, popular comedian Kapil Sharma and actor Rajpal Yadav have received threatening emails. The emails also targeted choreographer Remo D'Souza and singer-comedian Sugandha Mishra.
The email stated, "We have been monitoring your recent activities. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive issue to your attention. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you." It further mentioned that the recipients should treat the message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality, warning of severe consequences that could impact their professional and personal lives.
The email, signed by an individual named Vishnu, also mentioned that if the recipients did not respond within the next eight hours, necessary actions would be taken. Following the receipt of these threats, complaints were filed at Amboli and Oshiwara police stations by the celebrities. Preliminary investigations revealed that the email's IP address was traced to Pakistan. The police have stated that further investigations are ongoing.
This incident comes shortly after an intruder entered actor Saif Ali Khan's flat on January 16 with the intent to steal and subsequently stabbed Khan. The authorities are now on high alert, ensuring the safety and security of the celebrities involved.
