Bhubaneswar, January 24, 2025 — The indomitable spirit and unyielding personality of Paika Rebellion's great leader, Buxi Jagabandhu, once instilled fear in the hearts of British rulers. His bravery and heroism were unparalleled, said distinguished guests today at the state-level memorial event commemorating Buxi Jagabandhu's contributions.
The event, organized by the Information and Public Relations Department, was held at Jayadev Bhavan. Guests reflected on Buxi Jagabandhu's life, dedicated to the cause of freedom and sacrifice. Earlier in the morning, officials from the department laid floral tributes at his statue, paying homage to the legendary leader's enduring legacy.
