Bureau (2 July 2020): The Rath Yatra edition of the Odia e-magazine Shubhapallaba featured numerous photos related to Lord Jagannath and Rath Yatra, many of which were sourced from the Twitter handles of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the Chief Minister's Office. Since these handles, along with some other government handles, fall outside the copyright act, the images can be used by the public without permission.
Shubhapallaba extended its appreciation to the Chief Minister and the officials and volunteers who worked on the copyright act. Today, the Chief Minister's Office welcomed this move and praised Shubhapallaba's efforts. In a discussion with us, Shubhapallaba founder and executive editor Sangram Keshari Senapati expressed his happiness.
