Iran Vows Revenge Against Netanyahu, Denies Reports of His Death

Office Desk (15 March 2026): Iran has issued a strong warning against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of being responsible for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and vowing retaliation.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that Netanyahu would remain a permanent target amid the escalating conflict in West Asia. In a statement, the IRGC described him as a “criminal Jewish prime minister” and warned that if he is alive, Iranian forces will pursue him and attempt to eliminate him.

The statement came after Netanyahu’s office dismissed viral social media claims that the Israeli leader had been killed. Officials said the reports were false and confirmed that the prime minister is safe.

The remarks were made as part of the IRGC’s announcement of the 52nd wave of Operation True Promise-4, which it claims targets Israeli and American military positions in the region. According to the IRGC, Iranian forces launched heavy missile strikes on industrial areas of Tel Aviv, reportedly injuring several people and triggering emergency responses across the city.

Iran also claimed to have targeted locations linked to U.S. forces, including the Al‑Harir Air Base in Erbil, Ali Al Salem Air Base, and Camp Arifjan using missiles and drones.

Meanwhile, the IRGC suggested that Netanyahu’s fate remains uncertain, speculating that he may have been killed or fled Israel with his family. However, Netanyahu’s office has firmly rejected these claims, stating that the Israeli prime minister is alive and that the rumours circulating online are false.
